lyrics
Incantations echo from ancient deities
The unsuspecting cater to the will of the unseen
Terraforming landscapes in the form of smoldered hells
Greenish bolts of light explode with burning sulfur's smell
Like a cancer, spreading disease
The Dissolving of bones
Morphed and dripping
Skewing ruptured cells
Evolving, transformed creatures from the bowels of hell
Vomiting womb
Slime filled birth
Bread to consume
Gushing with girth
Blinded by light
Squirming and spoiled
Addicted mental appetite
Twisting of limbs
The Torsos writhe
Not knowing if they're dead or alive
Slithering mucus
Leaking slime
Vile excretions
Wriggling grime
Why I alone was spared, the answer I never sought
For surely is the answer that my soul has already been bought
I recall the incantations
So chant the ancient powers
To terraform this hellish world so darkness may devour
Surrounded by malicious beasts
Heart beating through my chest
No chance to survive this place
I'll not become just like the rest
Like a cancer, spreading disease
The Dissolving of bones
Morphed and dripping
Skewing ruptured cells
Evolving, transformed creatures from the bowels of hell
A sword withdrawn I take a breath
And give a fatal blow
Mankind's last and final breath is mine and mine alone

I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
